The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers co-hosted the 2025 Green Fintech Symposium, a landmark event highlighting innovation in sustainable finance. Nearly 500 participants from banks, investment firms, tech companies, and academia attended, with discussions centering on AI, big data, and commercialization in green fintech.

HKMA Chief Executive Eddie Yue underscored the critical role of cross-sector collaboration in addressing climate challenges. The symposium also revealed winners of the 2025 Green Fintech Competition, spotlighting cutting-edge solutions in the field.
